"Bold Glass Pillars With a View Over the Alster and The City" | new hotel building
Accor opens the first German SuiteHotel in Hamburg. Accor starts doing business in Germany with SuiteHotel, a new hotel concept of the 3 star category. The Hamburg City SuiteHotel opened its doors in November with 185 spacious suites which can be used in versatile ways. The main target groups of this new concept are business travellers and tourists as well as families with children who want to experience a hotel in a different way. Striking appearance: The tower of the new SuiteHotel Hamburg City, which is completely glazed, is an 18 storey high rise building rising into the Hamburg sky. The top four storeys jut out and open up a view over the nearby Alster, the museums and the city. The architecture office nps tchoban voss realized the overall concept for the urban ensemble at the Berliner Tor, consisting of the SuiteHotel, an apartment building for students and the East Court of Justice (Justizforum). This dynamical building complex is supposed to be the linking part between the Hamburg City Center and the "office-city" in the south.
